Sky Bus – an express bus service running direct between the airport and the city centre. The service is available every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including all public holidays.  Tickets can be bought at the bus stop at the airport or Southern Cross Station.  For up to date pricing check www.skybus.com.au.

Taxi – taxis provide a convenient service between the airport and your end destination.  There is a designated taxi rank at the airport and the average fare to the city centre is approximately $90.00.

Public Transport – a cheaper, though slightly longer option for access to and from the city is to use public transport.  From the airport take the 500 or 901 bus to Broadmeadows train station.  From there you can jump on a train to Melbourne city centre.  Vice versa for trips to the airport, the journey takes about an hour.

City Rail airport link – the most convenient transport option is this dedicated train line connecting the airport to Sydney’s central station.  Journey times are free from traffic delays, only taking 13 minutes and the service runs from 6am – 9pm, 7 days a week.

Taxi – plenty of taxis are always available at the airport with an average trip to the city centre taking 30 minutes and costing approximately $35.00.

Public Bus – the number 400 bus, running between Bondi and Burwood stops at both airport terminals and continues on through central Sydney, providing a cheaper travel option and taking only around 45 minutes.
